$20k Verizon awards for developers willing to classroom-test their middle school mobile apps

This contest is looking for apps designed for middle-schoolers that would be ready to beta test around the end of October.  The submitting entity needs to be a small (<$500k in net revenue) non-profit, but that non-profit can be paired with a for-profit developer.  The entering team keeps the game and the IP; the $20k pays for the time and effort involved in working with your assigned classroom doing the beta testing.

Feel free to email me, merrilea_mayo@innovate-educate.org, if you have questions; I'm helping Innovate+Educate get the word out about this contest.  Deadline is October 31.  So far, there are fewer applicants than prizes :)
