Transition Together, a behavior-changing program in the UK, uses carbon and financial conversion factors to calculate savings due to actions such as installing low-energy light bulbs. Initial results from 32 households are showing 38 tonnes of carbon and 19 thousand pounds (sterling) saved per year (http://transitionculture.org/2010/07/30/first-results-from-transiti...).
I think the feedback from this kind of measurement can be a powerful motivation for energy-saving behavior. I’m currently trying to use these measures in my local Transition Initiative.

To your knowledge, are there any games that develop awareness and initiative in players, towards the idea of the Transition Initiative?
Thanks
:/ I'm not sure if it's a good design to bog down the game with too much text. if i'm involved in someway in saving energy, the emotions from that probably touch people better? And then throw them text of Transition Together data later at the end game.
