Just wanted to suggest folks consider presenting some of their work or research at the Pop and American Culture Conference in Atlantic City, NJ in Nov 7-9. Though games for change are neither necessarily nor entirely popular culture, there is definitely some overlap there that could be interesting and generative to explore. Here's the webiste, with full CFP: http://mapaca.net/

Personally, I chair the Childhood Studies area so if your work involves kids and youth you can talk to me. Otherwise, much of the work discussed on Gameful would make brilliant additions to the content of the Activism area. Other areas like Internet Culture or the catch all American Studies area may suit others better.
