Anyone knows examples of games/gamification used in politics? Not only necessarily elections, but, for example, to educate about politics or to keep track/accountability, etc.

The site is no longer active, however Americans Elect was implementing some gamification techniques. The site was well done, but closed down when they were unable to obtain the support to get a 3rd candidate on the ballot. They did make great strides though, and I look forward to see how it evolves in the coming years. There was a lot of curiosity around if this was also just a way to obtain a candidate to help hurt the chances of Obama, to get elected by getting a candidate on the ballot that could take votes AWAY from him and not the GOP candidate. I also found a short article about it for you http://www.gamification.co/2011/08/11/americans-elect-and-the-evolu....
