Anything else you want to say about the kinds of projects or people or organizations you’d like to work with?
I'm a teacher and a gamer, these are my passions in life. I believe that education is the fundamental cornerstone of society and that games can, should and do play a large role in the educational sector. I believe to change the world we must first change the social stigma that is associated with 'playing games' as a fruitless medium at the administrative level of government and media. We must also convince more students to play games as an avenue to engage them in real a meaningful learning that is pertinent to them as 21st century digital natives.
With this being said I would relish the opportunity to participate in projects that help to achieve these goals in any way.
Games you’ve worked on ...
I have not worked on any games in the digital sense, aside from being an occasional reviewer or beta tester. However I strive to incorporate game theory and game based activities in my pedagogy.
What abilities would you bring to a collaboration?
As a student, a gamer, a teacher and a person I bring my own idiosyncratic interpretations of life, game theory and pedagogy to the table as a colleague. I have a creative approach to problem solving and I have a passion for divergent design. I am a honest and blunt person who will not leave an issue unresolved for the sake of social niceties.
Three games you’ve played that have changed your life:
World of Warcraft
Wonder boy 3: The Dragon's Trap
