I love the cartoons with Tom and Jerry, all are so funny and make me laugh every time, even after so many years. But Tom and Jerry games from http://jocuricutomsijerry.3eeweb.com can keep me in the front of the computers for hours.…Continue

This is Jason, an artist jumping into digital media. I've been really inspired by Jane McGonigal's writing, which led me to this site, which I am excited to explore!
I am in the process of heading back to school- gulp. It's a big step for me, which I hope is going to open a lot of doors. The program I am interested in is a new offering at OCAD University in Toronto, called Digital Futures. This is it…Continue

I just kind of joined this page on a whim well researching for a speech im doing for class on how video games positively affect the real world but this isn't something im doing just for a grade...video games have really inspired me my whole life and i always wanted to be part of that process, but i never had the patients to learn programing. What i have always wanted to do though is be behind those first few steps of creating a video game. I am currently a student at the University of…Continue
Mainly there is no game on the market that help medical students improve on their clinical skills, such as differential diagnostic reasoning, interpreting labs, and the ORDER of the steps in standard management. There is Kaplan and other companies that help students prepare for exams but not both exams and the real world. I am becoming more and more fascinated about how doctors think and how they can improve and become more efficient as to avoid mistakes. We work so much…
Hey guys Becket here,
did anyone else spend endless hours imagining the 'best game ever' growing up? Thinking to yourself "man, if I could build a game I would... insert awesome idea here."
Well my dream has always been to one day make that best game ever I always imagined. However, after working on this best game ever idea a few years I realized that my dream would never come true for a reason that I would like to share with all of you…Continue

Since posting the video, an epic conversation (200+ comments) had ensued on the Adobe Education Exchange…Continue
My name is Eric and I am working on my own game project. I find myself as someone who has some very cool ideas but lacks the skills to implement them myself. It's not like I can't learn them, it's just that I never realized I would need those kinds of skills...(programming, art, design)... I have to find people to help me do that but it's kind of frustrating you know? Just thought that I would open the floor for people like me to rant and connect with each other!
We are banning a lot of people for posting spammy links to live TV, ecommerce and what not. We are truly sorry if you have been exposed to those. In 3 days we have banned 300+ people. Spam in Gameful? NOT ON MY WATCH, RAWR!
Selfishness is the key to content creation in any social network. You are there to talk about yourself. Your prefrences. Your problems. Your projects. Your baby. Your lunch. Your favorite beer. Your favorite game. I'm creating this content so you can read it. In return, I expect feedback. Why?
Because I've put effort into it. I took time from my day, made myself a cup of coffee, turned off the TV, and DEVOTED myself to creating something for you. I want to inspire you. I want to…Continue

I am a homeless man.
After reading Reality is Broken I began formulating a game called HoboKin, an ARG based on the experience of homelessness and poverty. So far I have designed 9 Achievements and about 35 quests, all designed to raise awareness of homeless and to create empathy with the impoverished. I believe the game has even more potential than that however.
What I do not know how to do is to create a website whereby people could communicate, post links to…Continue
In the last 5 months me and my two collaborateurs Niels Frederiksen and Giuseppe Franchi have developed a demo of a learning game as a master thesis project at ITU Copenhagen, Denmark.
We are trying to teach procedural literacy and introduce logic and basic programming concepts to kids from 10 years upwards by "stealth learning" in order to provide a good "preparation for future learning".
Check out our trailer:…Continue
Hello Gameful Peeps!
I'm looking for feedback/advice on my latest project.
I'm hosting a summit that's bringing together volunteers from the nonprofit and game communities to collaborate for a day toward designing a game that will address an issue one of the nonprofits facing. Stage two will be getting funding, building a small team, and turning the design into a real game.
It's going well so far. I have participants from PATH and Seattle Children's on the nonprof side,…Continue
I thought that I would write a blog post with some of the key ideas that I took away from watching Games for Change Festival conference sessions. If, like me, you weren't able to attend Games for Change in person, you can watch the sessions online here. I separately enjoyed this wrap up of Games for Health, which I wasn't able to attend or view online.
Some takeaways that I…Continue
