- I like to deal in games that cultivate a sense of Civic Intelligence, that is, games that deal with creating and nurturing a community. Games are a great medium to change perspective. Pretending to be something is only a small step away from being something.
- Games you’ve worked on ...
- The first game I prototyped was called "SPRAWL!" and was about the impact that wanton expansion had on resources and policy creation both domestic and foreign.
- What abilities would you bring to a collaboration?
- Boundless Optimism. I've been called an idealist by many, but I don't think my ideas are idealistic, I think they're just a step away. All we need is a little help.
- Three games you’ve played that have changed your life:
- New World of Darkness - My first foray into telling an interactive story. Now as a GM, I would do things completely different, but hindsight is 20/20.
Dangerous Dave - The first virtual game I can remember playing. On windows 3.1. There were 10 levels and no saves. I didn't beat it until I was 16, and even today I still have to cheat.
MSG - A collaborative Story Game that challenges players to live in a corporatocracy and still find a way to fight back.
