Gameful is now hosting a series of FREE, one-hour webinars focused on various “gameful” topics.

Presenters, Moderators, and Sponsors Wanted

Right now I am a beginner in all things game design but, thanks to a substantial performing arts background (music, radio, theater), "presenting" and "moderating" are things I have been good at for awhile.  I want to help but I understand if it is too soon for me to be on "front street."  That being said, I'll just say I'm available if and when I'm needed.

Hey CK, you have been here for a while now (I mean, there is always someone that is newer than you). If you feel you can contribute with something, just let me know briefly what is your idea and we can help you to make it happen. :)

I'll get there in time.  Meanwhile, IMHO what I can do best is help with any folks who have lots of knowledge but might be "works in progress" when it comes to presentation.  Examples include writing out introductions and "brainstorming" interview questions.  Also, for the time being, my newness is an advantage because I provide a useful measure of how some of the more advanced stuff "goes over" with "lay people."

This is a bomb diggity fresh idea. I live in Boston and attend Tufts. I regularly visit the Microsoft NERD (new england research and development) for events with speakers who talk about everything games and tech related. It would be pretty cool to see this series in connection with a physical place so that people could gather to watch it like every Wed. night at 8 pm at the NERD center.
