I'm interested in creating a game that would spark a social movement around the country in the world. The only problem is I have no Game creating experience. I'm looking for people to help implement my idea and we went to inspire people to develop a community of people that inspires hope, belief and takes action to achieve what they are inspired to do in life. Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks,
Chris

Give us a 30 second game pitch and we'll go from there! i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GRl1AFnVkI
Chris - please read the game idea proposal on my blog - there may be a large overlap there...
seeing the different pitches gave me a little look into the gaming world. Thanks
Scott, great video from double fine. Got me thinking. I would be up for getting a beer and yes I could come over to South of market area sometime in the next couple of weeks to meet up and chat. I definitely do not have a pitch ready, but would definitely be interested in hearing more from you about gaming and a few concepts to see if an idea or two would actually work. Because like I said before after watching the first video you sen me. I already know my idea sucks. =) It would be great to check out double fine sometime.
Let me know when might be the best time to get together for you. After September 9, would be best for me. If we could pick a spot near a BART station (half a mile to a mile away) And a place that is wheelchair accessible, since that's how I roll, I'd appreciate it.I hope you Are having a great week!
Chris
Looking forward to stay up to date regarding you lifetime projects.
Hi Guys,
thanks for the impression of the game pitches and the pub crawl. Unfortunately I am located in Switzerland so it is quiet far to attend the beer even though I would be delighted to exchange some thoughts.
Best wishes
I might also add that when you have your game pitch perfected, while it is not absolutely necessary to have a prototype (which I could help with), at least a mock-up would help potential investors get a clear vision.
Chris,
The idea of flying down to your neck of the woods and talking about game design over a beer actually sounds very exciting, but I'm "tapped" out until next summer (pardon the pun ;). I would suggest we meet across the bridge in the South of Market, San Francisco area and arrange a tour with my fav game designer of all time, Tim Shaffer at Doublefine. Maybe try his infamous pub crawl ( https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&msa=0&m... ). Probably one of the best suggestions I could give you about clarifying your game concept and making the perfect pitch would be to investigate Double fine's Amnesia Fortnight : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GRl1AFnVkI ...Let me know what you think :)
Scott,
Thanks for the messages. I didn't know how easy or how difficult it was to create a game. I would actually be interested in just talking to someone about my idea, knowing that it sucks already. =). This is because I don't know anything about the gaming industry and would just like to know what it would take to take a simple idea and make it come to fruition. Or how I might go about learning how to develop my game more before even do anything about it. Would you be open to a conversation,, so I can hear your feedback? Maybe over a beer, or phone is fine. Just become more educated.
Have a great night
don't let the title detract you...good info here:
